In order to qualify to immigrate to Canada, an applicant must score at least 67 points, have sufficient funds
to maintain himself/herself and accompanying family members for at least 6 months, and pass medical
examinations as well as security and criminal background checks.

Provincial Nominee Applicants | |  |
Certain programs provide an option for Canadian provinces to select immigrants based upon the province's
priorities. The Provincial Nominee Programs are often designed to fill critical skilled shortages, or to provide
for immigrants who will be starting up, or investing in businesses in specific provinces in Canada. Provincial
Nominee cases are usually processed on an expedited basis.

Family Reunification Applicants | |  |
| Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents who are at least 18 years old can sponsor certain categories of
close relatives to immigrate to Canada. The sponsor will have to prove that the relationship is genuine, and
he or she will be required to support the sponsored relative for a prescribed period. Sponsored relatives
