The Province of Quebec has its own variations of the federal business programs.
Quebec Investors
Applicants in this category must have at least 3 years of management experience, gained in the last 10 years, immediately before the application and a legally acquired minimum net worth of CDN $800,000. They must invest CDN $400,000 into Investissement Quebec or one of its subsidiaries for 5 years, without interest.
Quebec Entrepreneurs
Candidates in the entrepreneur program must prove a legally acquired net worth of at least CDN $300,000 and have 3 years of management experience in a business environment. They are required to start businesses in Quebec, and create jobs for residents of Quebec.
Quebec Self-employed
Applicants in this category must intend to create their own job by trading or practicing a profession on their own account. They need to have at least CDN $100,000 and have 2 years of experience as a self-employed worker in the profession or trade that they plan to practice in Quebec.

- Live-in Caregiver Program
This allows foreign professional caregivers to work in Canada in a private household providing care for children, the elderly or the disabled. Caregivers are eligible to apply for permanent residence within Canada after working in this position for 2 years.
